RCPL OS — Platform Overview

RCPL OS is the dedicated Distribution Management System (DMS) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) platform built for Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL). It operates as a dedicated RCPL Platform deployment on the rcpl-os cluster, providing full isolation from the shared JMP infrastructure. The platform serves multiple business units under the Reliance FMCG umbrella: • RCPL (Reliance Consumer Products Limited) — primary tenant • JMD B2B — secondary tenant • RCPL OS is positioned as the "patient zero" for developing a scalable AI rebuild playbook that can expand across the FMCG sector globally. It serves dual purposes: ensuring business continuity for RCPL's current operations while positioning the company as an "AI transformation & simplification company."

Business Context

RCPL operates at ₹20,000 Cr scale with 1,500+ distributors across India. The platform manages the complete distribution chain from C&F agents through distributors (DBs), CSOs/DSRs, and down to 13M+ kirana stores. The migration from shared JMP cluster to dedicated rcpl-os clusters is the P0 priority for 2026.

Platform Vision

RCPL OS is not just a DMS — it is the operating system for India's FMCG supply chain. The vision is to build a comprehensive FMCG OS platform with global reach across India, Middle East, UK, Southeast Asia, and other markets. The platform emphasises AI-era lean operations where senior roles overlap and leverage AI tooling extensively.

Naming Convention

RCPL OS is the dedicated operating system for Reliance Consumer Products Limited — India's fastest-growing FMCG company. It digitises the complete supply chain from manufacturer to kirana store, covering 13M+ retailers across India.
